MRATC ACTIVITY SCHEDULE – Fall 2020

October - November - December

Trail work: In October and November club workdays will be announced on a weekly basis. Any questions can be referred to mratcinfo@gmail.com.

Group and rare plant hikes: For now, if these are offered at all, they will be announced in the weekly email. Some of our members are hiking with one other person or monitoring alone. We do not recommend carpooling. Email mtrogersatc@gmail.com. for questions about group or rare plant hikes.

Please remember to wear blaze orange if hiking during hunting season!

MRATC FRIDAY HIKERS - A moderately paced hiking group.

Hikes are announced midweek. Contact Judith Foster at jaf@centurylink.net or 276-623-2408 to join a hike.

November

7 Saturday. Possible date for Virginia Creeper Festival. If it is held, during October we will be seeking about 8 volunteers to sign up for shifts on the combined ATC and club booth and run an activity.

18 Wednesday. Fall club meeting 10:30 A.M. plus the annual meeting with our Agency Partners at 1:00 PM. We may meet live at the FS Work Center in Sugar Grove or hold both meetings on Zoom. Information will be sent in the Sunday Club email in early November. Those who don’t receive the email can ask one of the Board members in the list sent out with the March newsletter.

Trail work in December, January, and February will be scheduled as needed and when weather permits.
