REMEMBERING JOE ERDEKY

Joe Erdeky died at his home in Bowie, MD on January 19th after several years of suffering with debilitating ALS. Joe was a professor of mathematics at Prince George’s Community College before his retirement. He and his wife Susan came to Damascus to enjoy the trails and the outdoors, bought a second home, and joined the trail club in 2009 before the onset of Joe’s illness. We enjoyed being with Joe and Susan on the Trail, and along with their family, we will miss Joe.
