People who are not Mt. Rogers AT Club members are welcome to come to MRATC activities.

Check our club’s activity schedule and Current Week’s Information on our website, www.mratc.org.


These are some of the things club members do together. If you would like more information about any of them, download the form below, add your contact information, send in the form, and a club member will contact you. Or you can email the club with questions:  mtrogersatc@gmail.com.


      •             Hiking (day hikes averaging 4-8 miles) 
      •             Rare plant monitoring along the Appalachian Trail
      •             Trail work (paint blazes, clear fallen brush, repair erosion) 
      •             Maintain and repair shelters, stiles, trail bridges, privies
      •             Work with school and college groups on nature and trail activities 


People who are members of MRATC receive quarterly newsletters and weekly email updates on club activities.  They also receive patches for volunteer hours doing trail work. If you would like to become a member, mail the form below and your dues to:
